Returns, Refund, Cancellation and RTO Policy

This policy applies to all orders placed on nxtedit.com and forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Please read it carefully before placing an order.

1. Return Window

You may request a return or exchange within 7 days of the delivery date shown in your tracking status. Requests made after this window will not be accepted, except where the product is found to have a manufacturing defect, in which case Section 4 (Warranty and Defective Products) applies.

2. Conditions for Return or Exchange

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the product must meet all of the following conditions:

  • Unused and unworn, with no signs of damage, scratches on lenses or frame, or wear
  • All original tags, protective film (where applicable), and accessories intact
  • Returned in the original packaging, including the box, pouch and cleaning cloth provided
  • Accompanied by the original invoice or order confirmation

Products that do not meet these conditions may be sent back to you at your cost, and no refund or exchange will be processed.

Non-returnable items

The following are not eligible for return or exchange, unless defective on arrival:

  • Products purchased during clearance or final sale, where explicitly marked as non-returnable
  • Products with tampered or missing original packaging
  • Gift cards, if offered

3. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Write to us at [support@nxtedit.com] or use the return request option on your account/order page, within 7 days of delivery.
  2. Share your order number, reason for return, and photographs of the product (and packaging, if damaged) where relevant.
  3. Once your request is approved, we will arrange a reverse pickup from your registered address, where serviceable, or provide instructions for you to ship the product back to us.
  4. Please pack the product securely to avoid damage in transit. We recommend using the original packaging.

Reverse pickup, where arranged by us, is free of charge. If reverse pickup is not serviceable at your location, you will need to self-ship the product to our warehouse address, and we will reimburse standard shipping charges upon successful inspection, provided the return is due to a defect or error on our part.

4. Warranty and Defective Products

If you receive a product with a manufacturing defect, a wrong item, or physical damage caused during transit, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photographs and a description of the issue. Upon verification, we will offer a free replacement or a full refund, at your choice, along with free reverse pickup.

Damage caused by misuse, accidental drops, improper storage, or normal wear and tear is not considered a manufacturing defect and will not be eligible for free replacement or refund under this section.

5. Refunds

  • Refunds are processed only after the returned product has been received and inspected by our quality team.
  • Approved refunds will be credited to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days of inspection approval. Depending on your bank, the amount may take a few additional days to reflect in your account.
  • If you choose an exchange instead of a refund, the replacement product will be shipped once the returned item passes inspection, or immediately in confirmed cases of defect or wrong item shipped.
  • Shipping charges paid at the time of the original order, if any, are non-refundable unless the return is due to a defect, damage, or error on our part.

6. Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled free of charge before they are shipped. Write to us at [support@nxtedit.com] with your order number as soon as possible.
  • Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. You may refuse delivery or initiate a return after receiving the product, subject to this policy.
  • If a cancellation is approved before shipment, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 7 to 10 business days.

7. RTO (Return to Origin) Policy

RTO refers to a shipment that is sent back to us by the courier partner without being delivered to you, for reasons including:

  • Incorrect, incomplete or unreachable shipping address
  • The recipient being unavailable or unreachable despite multiple delivery attempts
  • Refusal to accept the shipment at the doorstep
  • The delivery location being restricted, unserviceable, or inaccessible at the time of attempted delivery

7.1 What happens when an order is RTO'd

Since all orders on nxtedit.com are prepaid, if your order is returned to us as RTO through no fault of ours, we will:

  • Notify you once the shipment is confirmed as received back at our warehouse
  • Offer you the choice of a re-shipment (additional shipping charges may apply for the second attempt) or a refund of the product value to your original payment method
  • Process the refund, where chosen, within 5 to 7 business days of the RTO shipment being received and inspected at our end

Original shipping charges, where applicable, are non-refundable in case of an RTO caused by an incorrect address, unreachable recipient, or refusal at the doorstep, since these charges cover the cost of the delivery attempt already made.

7.2 Your responsibility

To avoid an RTO on your order, please ensure:

  • Your shipping address is complete and accurate, including PIN code, landmark and a reachable phone number
  • You or someone at the address is available to receive the courier during standard delivery hours
  • You respond promptly to calls or messages from our courier partner regarding delivery

We are not liable for delays, additional charges, or inconvenience caused by an RTO resulting from incorrect information provided by you at checkout.

8. International Orders

At this time, nxtedit.com ships only within India. This policy does not cover international orders.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may revise this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our operations or courier partnerships. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and will apply to orders placed after the update.
